MERI participated in RusCrypto Conference

On March 24-27 Molecular Electronics Research Institute (part of the Element Group of Companies, MOEX:ELMT) participated in the 28th International Scientific and Practical Conference «RusCrypto 2026», dedicated to modern cryptography and information security tools. The focus of the participants was on issues of digital sovereignty and building a trusted digital environment.

Every year more than 500 experts gather at the RusCrypto platform, they are representatives of the scientific community, government agencies, commercial organizations, leading universities engaged in issues of cryptography and information security and representatives of Russian government agencies.

The business program of the conference included a plenary session and the work of 17 thematic sections as well as round tables and discussion panels. Participants discussed key industry topics, including cryptography and cryptanalysis, government information systems, cryptographic means of information protection, cryptographic solutions for cyber-physical systems, hardware security and others.

In discussions at round tables dedicated to issues of cryptographic information protection tools, experts in the field of information security separately noted that solutions with protection level 3 are more resistant to unauthorized interference attempts and have a greater ability to prevent various threats compared to solutions of levels 1 and 2.

MERI presented to the industry market and participants of «RusCrypto 2026» the first-level NE51IOT cryptographic chip (developed and manufactured in Russia), certified by the Federal Security Service of Russia under with protection level 3, for embedding into end devices. Software-hardware complexes based on it can be used in critical information infrastructure, industrial systems, the industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and at enterprises with heightened requirements for ensuring the security of information transmission.
