Molecular Electronics Research Institute (JSC MERI) is the leading research center of MERI Group that is a part of the Element Group of Companies. MERI Group enterprises form the largest Russian system for scientific and technological research in the field of micro- and nanoelectronics, development and manufacturing of semiconductor products. Currently, more than 600 high-skilled engineers are working at MERI.

The Institute cooperates with more than 60 national and foreign scientific centers, technical universities and design centers: IMEC (Belgium), CEA-Leti (France), Technische Universiteit Delft (Netherlands), Ecole Speciale de Lausanne (Switzerland), Aselta (France), Leland Stanford Junior University (USA), Mapper Lithography (Netherlands) etc.

MERI conducts research and design works on the federal programs of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, ROSCOSMOS State Corporation, as well as initiative work at its own expenses.
The research work is carried out in cooperation with various Russian and foreign partners as a part of various programs aimed at the improvement of the hardware components base, IC chips manufacturing in the Foundry mode for partner enterprises as well as the development of integrated circuits series and semiconductor devices.
