MERI presented equipment and materials for microelectronic production at the INNOPROM International Exhibition

On July 10, 2026, in Yekaterinburg, Molecular Electronics Research Institute (part of the Element Group of Companies, MOEX:ELMT) presented domestic technological equipment and new chemical materials for microelectronics production at the XVI International Industrial Exhibition «INNOPROM». MERI negotiated with representatives of the Republic of Indonesia on the prospects for technological cooperation and the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of microelectronics.

At the exhibition, the delegation from MERI met with Agus Gumiwang Kartasmita, Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, José Antonio Morato Távarez, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Russia, Ahmad Maruf Maulan, Chairman of the Indonesian Industrial Zone Association, and other officials. The parties discussed the prospects for technological cooperation, the development of the microelectronics industry, and possible areas of cooperation.

"Indonesia is one of the largest electronics assembly centers in the region and plans to develop its own microelectronics industry through strategic partnerships with international technology companies. In addition, the country has signed a free trade agreement with the BRICS countries. For our part, we are interested in developing export directions, and Mr. Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasmita has taken our proposals very seriously,” said Andrey Golushko, Deputy Director General of MERI.

As part of the exhibition, MERI demonstrated a mock-up of a plasma-chemical etching and plasma-chemical deposition system designed for the production of microelectronics with process standards of up to 65 nm.

The institute also presented a line of fifteen samples of chemical materials for photolithography, one of the key processes in the production of integrated circuits. The exhibition included photoresists, suspensions, high-purity precursors, organic solvents, and special reagents. Most of the materials presented have already been successfully certified by leading domestic microelectronics companies.

«INNOPROM» is the Russia's largest international industrial exhibition, bringing together government officials, business leaders, and the scientific community. In 2026, the event took place in Yekaterinburg from July 6 to 9 under the theme "Industry 360: Manufacturing Without Borders," with Indonesia as the partner country.
