MERI turned 62 years old

On March 9, 2026 Molecular Electronics Research Institute (MERI) celebrated its 62^nd anniversary. This date is not just a mark on the calendar, but a milestone behind which lie decades of hard work and hundreds of completed projects.

Microelectronics defines the face of the modern world. It is the foundation of a country's independent development. MERI’s research and development ensure the stable operation of critical information infrastructure, transportation, energy and other vital sectors.

The MERI’s employees are part of authoritative industry and scientific councils, participating in the development and implementation of 'roadmaps' for the development of microelectronics. Today Molecular Electronics Research Institute, interacting with research centers and industrial enterprises, is creating comprehensive solutions for the development of Russian microelectronic technologies and products.

The institute employs more than 500 highly qualified development specialists, including three academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences, more than 70 candidates and doctors of science, 89 laureates of 134 state and industry awards, labor distinction badges and scientific prizes.

The average age of employees is 41 years and the number of young specialists exceeds 42%.
