Molecular Electronics Research Institute proposed creating an allied foundry system

Within the framework of the VII Eurasian Business Forum «Integration» the Director General of Molecular Electronics Research Institute Alexander Kravtsov proposed to consider a program for the development of new technological processes and comprehensive tools for designing IC at the Scientific and Technical Council under the Permanent Committee of the Union State of Russia and Belarus.

The formation of a common scientific and technological space is provided for in the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State. The governments of both countries have signed an Agreement on the development of microelectronic technologies. A draft program of the Union State has been prepared for the development of new technological processes in the interests of the microelectronic design centers of the Union State. One of its elements is the mastering of modern technological processes and design tools on the production lines of the Belarusian company 'Integral'.

«Working within the framework of the Union State allows us to clearly see which critical elements need to be developed together with our Belarusian partners, how to cooperate most effectively and how to exchange knowledge and experience. Our joint project with Integral expands the technological capabilities of both enterprises and sets the task of long-term planning - for five, ten and more years. The experience of our cooperation with Belarusian colleagues can be extended to other Eurasian Economic Union countries», Alexander Kravtsov said.
